Were Having A Baby! How I told Derek!

I woke up Monday June 18th thinking hmmm today I'm going to take a test. I half expected it to be negative so when that faint pink line popped up I thought this can't be real. the test was one of those cheapo dollar store ones so I thought maybe its defective! I decided to use one of the more expensive digital tests and it immediately popped up "YES" I was so excited and shocked I think I stood there for 5 minutes staring at the test! I wanted to tell Derek in a special way but was also bursting with excitement! Just as I came out of the bathroom Derek came in and said he was meeting a friend for breakfast and he'd be back in awhile!

I had made a chalkboard from a mirror so I decided while he was gone I was going to write a message on the board for him to see when he got home. I ran to walmart to buy chalk and on my way home I passed him on our road. I called and asked him where he was going and he said he had to work!! I was thinking WHAT!!!!! I have to wait all day to tell him!! I wrote a MSG on the chalkboard and waited for what seemed to be an eternity! Finally he came home. I asked him as he was coming up the stairs if he could help me hang up my chalkboard in the bonus room. He walked right passed it without look and said I thought we were going to hang it in the pantry! At this point I'm dying with excitement. he finally came out of the bedroom and walked towards it and starting reading it. I have a short video of the moment but its bad quality because I was secretly trying to film him! He was very excited and so was I!! We are Due February 28, 2013. We cant wait!
