Brightons Baby Photos

We were very excited again to use Amy at Flora Photography(formally tickled pink) for Brighton's newborn shoot! She captured these photos perfect and Brighton was a dream to work with! Everyone knows a sleeping baby is the easiest to photograph haha!

Maternity Shoot 2014

I had a vision for my maternity shoot with this pregnancy and I think my husband thought I was crazy haha! Because the shoot would be in the winter I knew I wanted a long sleeve dress. I also knew that I wanted to build a couch out of hay bales! I Had this dreamy picture in my head of gorgeous light and a flowing dress! Amy from Flora Photography(formally tickled pink) helped make this dream come true! My hubby built the couch from hay bales and Amy and I went to town draping it with gorgeous linens! I love how our pictures turned out so much!

So I've decided as a personal journal for me and place for family to watch the boys grow that I will be  blogging a bit on our daily adventures!! Stay tuned:)

36 Weeks

How far along? 36 weeks
Total weight gain:  Not sure maybe 30 ill find out next week! I haven't been weighed in over a month so it could be bad haha
Maternity clothes? All day everyday!
Stretch marks? Itchy belly thats it!
Sleep: terrible! Peeing a lot! 
Best moment this week: Checking most of my to do list off! All we need to do is set up baby stuff and transition Kason into his new room!
Miss Anything? Not feeling sore all the time and feeling like I have to pee constantly even though I don't!
Movement: A lot but babes is running out of room now!
Food cravings: Nothing I'm still eating but nothing sounds mazing right now.
Anything making you queasy: no
Gender: Its a surprise!
Labor Signs: Yes lots of painful braxton hicks 
Symptoms: sore back and Holy Braxton hicks! All the time! So much tightening and pressure! And of course my giant belly that people comment on haha
Belly Button in or out! Out all the way!!
Wedding rings on or off? On but hands are getting swollen so I should remove soon!
Mood: Great just tired but happy!
Looking forward to: Meeting this baby! Packing my hospital bag is on the top of my list and fishing our basement development hopefully before the baby is here! 

30-35 Weeks

Ok so I obviously slacked bad on my bump dates for 30-35 weeks! But with the holiday season a trip to vegas and a toddler and Christmas lets just say I'm lucky I even took these pictures haha! Not sure of my weight gain i'd say close to 30 pounds but I don't have a doctors appt. for another week! No stretch marks but an itchy belly! My hips have been hurting quite bad! At 32 weeks we were in vegas for 5 days and it was my first trip away from kason! GP Abbott's watched him and he did so well! We ate and gambled and walked a lot! My feet swelled a bit from all the walking but I had lots of fun! Christmas was great but busy! Kason did well considering he was up way past his bed time for a week straight! We went to fernie for new years and just relaxed at the cabin which was fun! Im in the finally month and although I still have a ton to do i cannot wait to meet this little person! 

29 Weeks

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain:  20 but prob more going to find out at next doctors visit!
Maternity clothes? Yes and bought some cute non maternity tops that work with the belly! 
Stretch marks? NO but itchy omg!
Sleep: Up 2-3 times a night to potty!
Best moment this week: We went to surprise birthday with friends which was nice and starting decorating for Christmas!
Miss Anything? Wine and not feeling so large!
Movement: yes a lot behind my hips!
Food cravings: salsa and chocolate! 
Anything making you queasy: no
Gender: Its a surprise!
Labor Signs: NO NO NO! 
Symptoms: sore back and Holy Braxton hicks! All the time! So much tightening and pressure!
Belly Button in or out! Half out now!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Happy and a little stressed! I want to get my maternity photos out of the way next week and I want to finish up my christmas shopping too!
Looking forward to: Maternity photos and the ultrasound! 

28 Weeks

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain:  20 Big ones!
Maternity clothes? Yup
Stretch marks? NO
Sleep: same old:)
Best moment this week: Well not the best but I had a new doctor at the hospital measure me at 6 weeks ahead which is ridiculous so we have an ultrasound ion a couple weeks to see how big this baby really is! I also passed my glucose test!
Miss Anything? Wine and fitting into normal clothes
Movement: Tons this babe is definitely a mover and a shaker big jabs everywhere
Food cravings: salsa always salsa and spicy foods
Anything making you queasy: no
Gender: Its a surprise!
Labor Signs: NO NO NO! Although I've been having braxton hicks
Symptoms: sore back and big belly:) 
Belly Button in or out! Flat and sorta out
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Good except for seeing that doctor! Hoping to see my midwife for the next appt!
Looking forward to: My maternity photos! Our hopeful trip to vegas and seeing our baby on this extra ultrasound!
